Definition: Mindset coaches are dedicated to rewiring an individual’s mindset, allowing them to be the very best version of themselves and to unlock their full potential. These coaches typically avoid directly giving advice or solving problems. They facilitate the space for the change to unfold.
Do you know what Oprah, Serena Williams, Leonardo DiCaprio, Hugh Jackman, all have in common? apart from being some of the most famous people in the world these celebrities have all worked with and held in high regard the services of a life coach. They have all worked on their mindset and continue to do so.
I work predominantly professional women leaders, business owners and entrepreneurs.
Studies conducted by the International Coaching Federation on the effectiveness of life coaching showed 99% of the people they interviewed saw their experience working with a life coach as rewarding, while 96% stated they would do it again. Moreover, 65% said working with a coach helped them improve their performance at work, and 80% said it helped improve their self-confidence.
Coaching tends to focus on the present and future rather than the past. Coaches help people identify their goals and the obstacles they are facing. Like therapy, coaching involves guidance and support but also places a great deal of emphasis on accountability, enabling people to do more than they might on their own. I use Hypnosis which is a therapy as its is called ‘Hypnotherapy’ this one of the tools I use.
Coaching can help a professional or entrepreneur to become a great leader. Consulting provides expertise and assistance. A coach will develop the client help them break through barriers that hold them back.
Consulting – a consultant is an expert who is called on for professional or technical advice or opinions. Consulting is unlike coaching because with pure coaching, the answers come from the client.
I have worked with many men of all ages, if a man approaches me to work with him I always take the same approach as I do for all clients. We will have a discovery call and a complementary consultation, during this time we will discover if we are right for each other. I will only engage to work with someone if we are have a good rapport and I feel confident that we can work together and get results.
If for any reason we are not a great match, I will refer my client to someone I know professionally that I know for sure they will be more suited to.
Part of the transformation happens with hypnosis. Hypnosis is a short cut to changing the mind quickly and effectively.
You have anything in the range of 70,000 to 120,000 thoughts a day, you cant stop them but you can reprogram the ones that do not serve you, through the process of hypnosis this is a very effective tool for that.
I use a selection of tools from my toolbox so the client receives whats right for them. My intuition plays a great part in knowing what would be effective for a particular person. I will always take a person centred approach.
Hypnosis is a great tool to use not only to relax the client but to rewire the brain in a positive way. For instance if I have a client with a problem with procrastination or motivation. One session of hypnosis can change that. They can become super focused on whats important to them. A very powerful tool with fabulous results. If a client does not want to work with hypnosis I fully respect that and there are many ways to make changes. If you would like to know more about hypnosis and how it works here is a link to my blog post about that.
